Future MVP

This cake was made for my cousin's wife's baby shower. The theme was a football theme and I came up with this after finding a few ideas online. I'm super happy with the way it turned out!

Tangled

My daughter requested a Rapunzel cake/party this year and while I wanted to keep it simple, I wanted her to be happy with it. I think this was the perfect way to go. Rapunzel is of course a plastic toy (sorry, but when you are also hosting the party you gotta cut corners somewhere :)), the cake was chocolate by the birthday girl's request, and all other decorations were fondant.

My Little Man's "Ben 10" Birthday Cake

You might remember Garrett's birthday cake from last year. I think it will always be hard to top that one, and luckily this year was an odd birthday year, in which I've designated as the birthdays that only include Grandmas and Grandpas (and maybe a select cousin or two). No big pressure there. But I still wanted to make something special for my little man's 7th birthday. I tried to honor his requests the best I could, and here is what I came up with. One happy birthday boy = one happy mama. :)
